A Mischief Of Magpies

If the Sun were the size of a beach ball then Jupiter would be the size of a golf ball and a Mischief of Magpies would be as small as a pea.

Good friends

Hi, this is my first posting from Japan. Thank you very much for your invitation, clairwill. I'll make it short today.

They say it's hard to understand why he came to Japan on the wedding day of our Royal Family member. I saw a comentator saying it was a kind of shame on TV. Maybe he just did't want too much attention from us. It seems like our country has to let our SDF stay longer in Iraq and began to buy beefs which maybe BSE infected from them. It's the same old story. It seemed like they were enjoying Kyoto too much.

May, welcome to The Mischief. We've been wondering when you'd post.

As for George, I see his problems with the English language have cropped up again..........

"It didn't take President Bush long to say something shocking following his first meeting with the Japanese prime minister:

"He [Koizumi] said I want to make it very clear to you exactly what I intend to do and he talked about non-performing loans, the devaluation issue and regulatory reform and he placed equal emphasis on all three."

Mr. Bush, of course, meant to say 'deflation(ary)', not 'devaluation' - a slip that was clarified soon afterwards by the White House. However, for a brief moment following Bush's gaffe every forex trader watched the Yen fall and feared the worst..."

Ok, it's a Bush bash, but for pity's sake, he's a "businessman" and the president of the US. Surely he knows the difference between deflation and devaluation enough not to get them confused.

The stupidity of Bush just gets more terrifying as time goes on.

Thanks for the post May.

I think surely his time is limited, especially with so many of his own people openly ridiculing him like this now:
(you might have to cut and paste it....I think it's worth it) We can't force him down, but laughter might toppple him.)
